India’s leading IT company Infosys Limited is investing 300 crore rupees in Mohali, which will create a modern campus of 30 acres in IT City. This campus will create more than 2,500 high-quality technical jobs, which will prove to be a milestone in making Punjab the leading IT hub of North India. This Infosys campus being built in Mohali’s IT City will be a center of cutting-edge technologies. This project will be completed in two phases, in which the first phase will bring construction of 3 lakh square feet, which will immediately open employment opportunities. The second phase will expand by another 4.8 lakh square feet, creating a total of 2,500 to 2,700 jobs. These jobs will be in software development, data analytics, artificial intelligence and other advanced technical fields. For young people coming out of Punjab’s colleges, this is nothing less than a golden opportunity. Now they will get a chance to make big dreams come true close to home.
This investment by Infosys will give new energy to the economy of Mohali and entire Punjab. The launch of this project will take place on November 5, 2025 on the auspicious occasion of Gurpurab, and it will be completed on time in a phased manner.
Infosys already has a presence in Chandigarh, but this new campus in Mohali will be far ahead in size and modernity. This project will bring Punjab to compete with Delhi, Noida and other northern cities.
